The Chihuahua is the only toy breed that is naturally small, and has not been bred down from an existing breed.
The Chihuahua, although small, is not daintily built. The body is robust, and well-rounded. The distinguishing feature of a Chihuahua is its large well-rounded, apple shaped head, topped by large erect ears spaced well apart on the head.
The eyes are large and round, and should not protrude.

We require a (non-refundable) deposit of R800.00 to reserve your puppy. The balance must be paid into our bank account before rehoming.
Before your new puppy comes home, you will need to ensure that you have the following items ready and waiting:
- Water bowl
- Food bowl
- Bed
- Blanket
- Toy(s)
- Hairbrush
- Lots of love
There must always be fresh, clean water and food available for your puppy. As the pup grows older, you can reduce the access to food, and give your dog 2 feeds a day, at regular times.
If you are in the habit of giving your dog treats and tit-bits during the course of the day, one feed should be sufficient.
